Randall and family, Linda just called and told me about Ila Mae. I'm so sorry for all of you. I always think of the fun I had with her and mom and their whole bowling team when they came to Denver many years ago and I got to be their "Driver". They were hilarious! I know how hard this is and my love and prayers go to you all.
I have so many wonderful memories of Ila Mae. Growing up, we spent much time at the Wigen house. Ila Mae was always so kind and understanding of us kids - her house was like our second home. I mostly remember her wonderful sense of humor and ability to laugh. She will be very much missed. My sympathies to the entire family. Love, Jackie
Ila Mae was one of my favorite teachers. She boarded at our house at least one school year. When ever I saw her she always reminded me of the time she was in charge of making gravy (Mother was in the hospital giving birth to my youngest brother Dale.)Not sure of how much flour to use for thickening she used plenty, you can imagine how that ended. The frying pan was full and than some and not very tasty. I can still hear her giggle over that. Our deepest sympathy, JoAnn
Orlando, Lori and family, My thoughts and prayers are with all of you in your time of loss of Ila Mae. I know she will be greatly missed but will stay in all your hearts. I stopped in to visit her last year when I was back visiting my Mom at Luther Memorial - it was fun to see her again. May God be will you all. Love, Denise Wilkens (Eldris Wilkens daughter)
Lori and family, so sorry to hear of your mother. As we grew up, we always thought that Mom and Dad will always be around... as we grew older those thoughts diminished... but the memories last forever... Your mother would always take the time to talk.... thinking of you and your family... Jon......
Dear Orlando and children, My sympathy to you and your family. Ila Mae was such a special person. I will always remember working with her for many years at the FSA Office. Her family and grandchildren meant everything to her. I am sorry I cannot be at her funeral, but I want you to know I will be thinking about all of you. God bless her memory. Nancy & Mike Kainz
Lori, My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this time. I've lost touch with you the last couple of years, but think of you often and hope that good memories comfort you in the days ahead. Mary Ann (Hanson) Riedman
