We are saddened to learn of Mr. Paintner's passing. He was well known and loved in our community. May God grant your family and friends His Peace as you cope with losing him (Phil 4:6-7)
I didn't know Mr. J Paintner but, Julie, I knew you and by everything I've read about your precious father, it seems to me that you are a reflection of him. I am so sorry for your loss. Know that my husband and I are praying for you, Mike, Anthony, Margi and your family. May the Lord keep the wonderful memories y'all have made with your father close to your heart. ♥
Bismarck State College - Fall of 2009 BSC Ag students visit the Paintner farm. John & Dan share with students what has made their farm successful over 40 years of partnership with each other.
A master farmer of Griggs County will be missed... John was my best friend for about 7 years of my life and like a second father to me. He was so passionate about farming it oozed out of him. He just loved it. I'll never forget watching him rake his fingers through countless fields checking seed depths in the spring. Though making money was important to him, he was more about the adventure of planting/spraying and harvest. He was a perfectionist with his fields and his hard work ethic soared above most. He was a guy who always read the owners manual/directions - first and loved his history (especially older farm stories). He taught me everything I ever knew about guns and shooting. John was so proud of his family, his German heritage and the successful farming partnership he had with his brother Dan. He loved Lil and she meant the world to him. He talked tough a lot, but had the most tender heart inside. Thankful for the years of life I got to spend with Mr. Paintner. There will always be a piece of John in my heart. Prayers for peace and healing to Lil and their family. Paul Philippians 4:7 - And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Please accept my heartfelt condolences to the family and friends. God also gives Bible promises to comfort us. “He will swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord God will wipe away the tears from all faces.” Isaiah 25:8 and “He wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” Revelation 21:4 My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.
