We wanted to express our sympathies to you at this your time of grief we pray you be strengthened in the days ahead. We like to share a thought that gave us comfort. At Daniel 12:2 , "And many of those asleep in the dust of the earth will wake up, some to everlasting life ..." May this thought bring you comfort as it did our family during our time of loss. JR
I was sad to hear about the passing of your mom. She always had a big smile on her face and was cheerful whenever I saw her. I would really like to be there on Saturday to visit with all of you, but we are heading out on Friday morning with June and her husband on a trip to the Black Hills and Deadwood. May all the great memories provide you comfort in the days and months ahead. We are thinking about you and we are praying that both of your parents are dancing in heaven. Laurel and I love to dance also and hope to do lots more while we still can. Harmon
Don't think I ever saw your mom without a smile on her face. I have such fond memories of all the times we spent time with her. I remember when we visited you all on the farm when I was a teen and I was amazed that she could "whip-up" a meal for 20 people several times a day. We had such fun when she came to Chicago for my mom's 70th birthday. I am going to treasure those memories.
Our deepest sympathies to you all. I have such fond memories of your mom--I can't remember seeing her without a smile on her face. I remember visiting you all on your farm as a teen and being amazed that your mom could "whip up" a meal for 20 people several times a day. We all loved her and will miss her.
I spent two summers in Hope with my Dad, Robert Johnson, and my best memories were the afternoons that I spent with Marilyn and Knud in their apartment in Hope. My Dad said about Knud one day that if you had a problem with him you were the problem (!) and I don't think it could have ever been said better. Marilyn loved company and she so loved my dog Hans. My she rest in peace.
So sorry for your loss. And you are right, she was a wonderful cook. I got her Spanish Rice recipe, that she made in school, several years ago from her. She told me my senior year they didn't know if they would make it anymore, you McCullough boys are the only ones that really like it! She will be missed. Thoughts are with your family. Kerry
Our deepest sympathies to you on the passing of your Mother. Yes, she will be enjoying the company of those gone before her - so many good memories of such a gracious lady to such a beautiful family. Hugs and prayers to all of you as you reflect and cherish your family memories - you are now the keepers of the stories. God bless you and the memory of your Mom.
