Allen Edgar Larson, Age 91 passed away on April 25, 2019 in the Cooperstown Care Center. He was born to Martin and Betsy Larson on May 11, 1927 in Kensal, ND. Allen and Marjorie E. Gunkel were united in marriage on June 4, 1948 in Hope, ND. Allen served in the United States Army in the WWII Occupation at Japan as an Army Corporal from April 1946 to September 1947. He retired at the age of 58 after 35 years of working as a John Deere Parts Manager in McHenry, ND and many years at the Hildre Imp. of Cooperstown, ND. Allen was preceded in death by his parents and 8 siblings. He is survived by his wife Marjorie, Sons: Allen Jr. (Renata), Larry (Bette), 5 grandchildren, Trisha (Shane) Germann, Jay Larson, Sara Larson, Jodi (Bryan) Rich and Ivy (Sean) Maday, 7 great grandchildren, Talia and Corbin Germann, Colin and Keller Rich, Andi, Iris, and Elsi Maday. Services will be at Grace Lutheran Church, Cooperstown, ND at 11:00 am, on Thursday, May 2, 2019 with visitation 1 hour before the service. Interment will be at the Sunset Memorial Gardens in Jamestown, ND at 2:00 pm. To send a flower arrangement or to plant trees in memory of ALLEN E.
