CHARLES ENGEN Charles Engen, 83, Finley, ND died Wednesday, May 20, 2015 in Sanford Health, Fargo, ND. Charles Engen was born December 1, 1931 in Golden Lake Twsp., Steele Co. ND, the son of Conrad and Lillian (Severson) Engen. He was baptized in Bethany Lutheran Church and confirmed in Finley Lutheran Church. He grew up and attended school in Finley and graduated from Finley High School. He served his country proudly in the United States Navy for four years in the Korean War. After being honorably discharged he returned to the Finley area where he farmed. Charles enjoyed all TV sports, hunting, fishing and trapping. He is survived by two brothers, Kermit, Sharon, ND, Conrad (Elaine). New York Mills, MN; sister, Norma Godfrioux, CA and many nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, May 28, 2015 at 11:00 am in the Quam-Plaisted-Cushman Funeral Home in Finley, ND. Visitation will be one hour before services in the Funeral Home.
