Dennis Helmer Amundson, 70, of rural Finley, ND passed away at his home on August 11, 2018. Dennis was born on July 11th, 1948 at the Sharon, ND hospital to Helmer and Christine (Nordbo) Amundson. He was confirmed at the Finley Lutheran Church and attended High school in Finley. He was especially proud of his many FFA accomplishments. He enjoyed going out west to elk hunt, going fishing, hanging out with his dog Turbo, and just visiting. Dennis had been employed at a variety of work in his lifetime from lineman to trucking to farming and many more in between, most recently at Laughlin Farms. Dennis is survived by his sister Carol (Roger) Anderson, his son Jason Amundson, Sandi Braaten, Denise (Jerry) Rosnow, Christine A. Amundson, and Nancy Amundson and many grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, twin brother, Dale, infant siblings, son, Darin. Funeral services will be, Thursday, August 16, 2018 at 10:00 am in the Finley Lutheran Church Finley, ND. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 15, 2018 from 5:00 pm till 7:00 pm in the Quam-Plaisted-Cushman Funeral Home in Finley, ND and one hour before services in the Church.
