DELLA E. GRONNEBERG Della E. Gronneberg, 89 of Cooperstown, ND passed away October 7, 2011 in the United Retirement Center, Brookings, SD. Della Ella Anderson was born May 25, 1922 in Vang, ND the daughter of Elmer and Margaret (Erickson) Anderson. Della received her public education in Vang and graduated from Walhalla High School. Della married Clarence Gronneberg July 27, 1941. They farmed near Sutton, ND. They resided on the farm until 1959 when they moved into Cooperstown, ND. Clarence passed away April 3, 1999. Della was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Her interests included her family, playing games, bowling, flower arranging and gardening, genealogy, craft projects, baking, traveling and her computer. During WWII, she was a crane operator at the Puget Sound Naval Yard in Bremerton, WA. After buying the farm near Sutton, Della worked along side Clarence to help make their farm a success. Later in life, she worked part time at Anderson Floral and sold Mary Kay cosmetics. Della is survived by her son, Bruce (Dianne) Gronneberg, Cooperstown, ND and her daughter, Benda (Steve) Berseth, Brookings, SD, five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and three sisters; Geneva, Amy and Marion. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence, parents, her brothers, Oliver and Raymond and 2 infant sisters. Visitation will be held will be Thursday, Oct. 13, 2011 from 5:00 till 7:00 in the Quam-Plaisted-Cushman Funeral Home in Cooperstown, ND and one hour before services in the Church. A Prayer Service will be held Thursday at 7:00 pm in the Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Friday, October 14, 2011 at 11:00 am n the Trinity Lutheran Church in Cooperstown, ND.
