Funeral Services will be held Monday, February 15, 2010 at 10:00 am in the Finley-Sharon School in Finley, ND.
Visitation will be held be Sunday, February 14, 2010 from 2:00 till 5:00 in the School.
A Prayer Service will be held Sunday at 5:00 pm in the School.
Lance Michael Rayner was born March 5, 1998 in Fargo, ND the son of Jason and Renae (Branson) Rayner.
Lance was a 6th grader at Finley-Sharon School. He passed away February 10, 2010 in his farm home after a seven year battle with cancer surrounded by his loved ones.
Lance had a contagious smile that brightened everyone’s day. He was always happy and had a positive attitude, never complaining and had a love for life. He loved playing cards, drawing, coloring and playing with his legos. Lance loved playing with his brothers and enjoyed having his friends over for sleepovers. One of his favorite things was telling jokes to friends and family. Lance also enjoyed going to Golden Lake where he would go tubing and at night sit around the fire. He was able to meet his NASCAR idle Dale Earnhardt Jr. and took a trip to Disney Land and many other outings with his family.
He is survived by his parents; Jason and Renae, Finley, ND; two brothers, Logan and Lucas at home; Grandmother: Janice Rayner. Phoenix, AZ; Grandfather: Paul Rayner, Hatton, ND; Great Grandparents: Bruce and Sue Laughlin, Mesa AZ: Great Grandmother, Arlene Beekman, Pensacola, FL and many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
