ANNIE E. DAHL Annie E. Dahl, 83 of Cooperstown, ND died Saturday, January 12, 2013 at Cooperstown Medical Center Nursing Home in Cooperstown. Annie Elizabeth was born February 4, 1929 at Mrs. Skjei’s Maternity House in Cooperstown, ND to Edward F. and Mary J. (Zimprich) Fiebiger. She grew up and attended rural school in the Jessie area. She moved into Cooperstown, ND as a teenager. She married Quentin S. Dahl October 23, 1946 in St. George Catholic Church in Cooperstown, ND. The couple made their home in Cooperstown. Annie has been employed by the Kimball Plant, Helen Sharpe’s Cafe, Peterson-Biddick, Dr. Westley in his home, Orpha’s Cafe, Super Valu, Johnson’s Store, Jack and Jill, Super Valu, Cooper Hardware, Andy’s Cafe, Coast to Coast, she had numerous cleaning jobs with commercial business and many residential customers which she thoroughly enjoyed. Annie moved to Harrisonburg, VA in July of 2007 and lived with Pam and her family returning to Cooperstown in May of 2009 when she entered the Cooperstown Medical Center Nursing Home. Serving family was her main priority and she loved her extended family gatherings. Annie enjoyed gardening, baking, bowling, trips, playing cards and going on walks. She was very active in St. George Catholic Church’s Ladies Aide. She is survived by three daughters, Patty (Warren) Stokes, Wahpeton, ND, Pam (Don) Harper, Harrisonburg, VA , Paulie, (Don) Schneider, Bismarck, ND; two sons, Greg (Louise), Dean (Rachel) both of Cooperstown, ND; eleven grandchildren, Naomi (Edland) Leslie, Travis Edland, Sonja (Edland) Skadberg, Sara, Jeff and Brad Harper, Nick, Amy and Mitchell Dahl, Crystal Bosch and Jace Dahl; 7 Great grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren, 4 step-great grandchildren, 2 sisters, Ida Heinze, Grand Forks, ND, Florence Gisvold, Carrington, ND and several nieces and nephews. Annie was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Mary, husband, Quentin; siblings, Mary Peterson, Eddie Fiebiger, Lawrence Fiebiger, Richard Fiebiger, Frank Fiebiger, Martha (Kuklok) Gruman, Rosie Gruman, Bill Fiebiger and granddaughter, Kari Ann Bosch. Funeral Service will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, January 18, 2013 at St. George Catholic Church in Cooperstown, ND. Visitation will be, Thursday, January 17, 2013 from 5-7 PM with a Prayer Service/Memory Sharing at 7 PM at the Quam-Plaisted-Cushman Funeral Home, Cooperstown, ND and one hour before services in the Church.
