IRENE ZIMPRICH Irene Zimprich, 89, of Binford, ND died Monday, June 24, 2019 at the Carrington Health Center in Carrington, ND. Irene Marie Eggermont was born January 4, 1930 in Cooperstown, ND, the daughter of Alfons and Marie Louise (Franque') Eggermont. Irene married Carl Zimprich October 18, 1949 in McHenry, ND. They lived in the Jessie area their entire life, raising chickens, livestock and grain farming. She loved flowers, gardening, baking and spending time with the grandchildren/great-grandchildren. The coffee pot was always on with some freshly baked treats. Carl died November 1, 1998. Irene continued to live on the farm until suffering a stroke June 1. She entered Golden Acres Manor on June 14. She is survived by two sons: Henry (Judy Ronningen) and Mark, both of Binford; one daughter, Virginia (Kevin) Pedersen of Carrington; three grandchildren, Derek Pedersen, Maple Grove, MN, Lisa (Gary) Ripplinger of Mapleton and Carla (Brandon) Saeger of Burnsville, MN; four great grandchildren, Evan & Erin Ripplinger and Carson & Gracie Saeger; two step-grandsons Blake (Annette) Krabbenhoft, Cooperstown , Shane (Sherrie) Krabbenhoft, West Fargo; three step-great grandsons Wyatt (Oxanna) Krabbenhoft, Cooperstown, Dylan (Maddie) Krabbenhoft, Cooperstown, Sutton Krabbenhoft, West Fargo; one step-great great granddaughter Emery Krabbenhoft, Cooperstown. Irene is also survived by two sisters, Selma Eggermont and Margaret Maertens, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Christ, Carlos & Camiel Eggermont. Visitation will be held Thursday, June 27 from 4-6 pm at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Jessie, ND with a prayer service at 5:00 pm. Funeral will be held Friday, June 28 at 2:00 pm at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, with burial at the St. Lawrence Cemetery.
