David, Nicky, and Scott, My thoughts have been with you since hearing that Helen passed away. It brought back many fond memories of the 'Sayer-Solberg' connections. Your mother was a special lady, who for so many years shared her musical talents with all of Cooperstown. I have so many memories of your lovely mother! Fondly, Susan Solberg
A wonderful woman, mother, wife and a mom to lots of us is with Leon. My heart is sad.. Couldn't be there with you today, but I've been there in thought.
Sincere sympathy to Helen's family....she was very gifted and a wonderful attribute to our beloved Cooperstown, sharing her gifts and talents. Blessings and peace to her family.
On behalf of the North Dakota Music Teachers Association, I wish to extend our sympathies to the family. Helen was a leader, having served as the NDMTA state president for four years, and a mentor to many of the teachers. She was a delight to meet at state and national conferences and always full of energy and enthusiasm for the teaching of piano. We have fond memories of those times and she lives on in the many lives that she touched.
Dear Nicky and Sayer Family, I am saddened by the loss of a local Music Legacy! Helen was a lovely lady with a passion for bringing music to the community. Everyone enjoyed performing for/with Helen! It was also a pleasure being on the listening end of Helen's grand productions. Helen will be missed dearly. My deepest sympathy for your loss. Peace and strength to you, and...Keep a song in your heart! Sincerely, Maury Best
My Sincere Sympathies to the family of Helen. What a wonderful lady! She pushed me to my fullest singing ability and I will always be grateful to her for that. She was also the greatest organist our little Presbyterian Church ever had! She made us all sound like musicians. I loved the Christmas parties we would have for the church choir at her home. I always felt so special! Thank You all for sharing your Mother! May you all find peace in the coming days as you reminisce with each other. Love and Prayers, Wanda
