Please share a memory of JERRY to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
A farmer’s job is to be a caretaker of the land. And to the land he will return. Jerry Gruman was born in Cooperstown, ND on October 11, 1940, to Joseph and Rose Gruman. Jerry and his twin brother Larry were inseparable in life, and died only four months apart. He married Glenna Becherl on March 4, 1965, and they had three children: Cynthia, Melissa, and Gary. Jerry spent his entire life in the Hannaford area, tilling and toiling over the land he so loved. In recent years he and Glenna would spend winters in Arizona. He died on March 20, 2016 at the Polidori Hospice House in Lake Havasu. The family will have a private burial at a later date. Jerry was predeceased in death by his parents, his brothers Chuck and Larry, brother-in-law Lyle, and son-in-law Scott. If you so choose to honor Jerry’s life, please send donations to Polidori Hospice House, 1980 Bahama Avenue, Lake Havasu City AZ 86403.
