I was totally shocked to pull up the website and see Ernie's obituary. He will be greatly missed. Ernie was the kind of guy who would offer you anything if he thought you needed it more than he did. I will remember him fondly. I will continue to pray for Trish and for Ernie's family.

I met Ernie many years ago. He had been a good 2nd father and friend for me since. I was shocked when I read about the tragedy that happened last monday. His passing feels so unreal. Ernie - you have left us way to early. You will be very missed. Trish, I wish you all the strength to get through this and I want you to know that my thoughts will be with you. Lets remember Ernie with his friendly, open, loving, courageous and fun attitude and he will live at our hearts forever. Now life must go on also if it feels hard to go on with life not having Ernie at our side anymore. But I think and I hope you continue the plan you and Ernie had thought out & travel Europe, travel the World. Come and visit us. Try to enjoy life ... that is what Ernie would also want and actually both of you deserve. For my part - I will always miss Ernie but try to live by ways he has shown us. My sympathy to the family left behind.

I was SO SAD to hear this news. My condolences, thoughts and prayers go out to Ernie's family and Elvina and all the Brager Kids. I have so many fond memories of playing with all of you as we were growing up. So much fun we all had - and now to lose the "baby" in the family. Very difficult time for all of you.
