Adeline Jeanette Berge Adeline Jeanette Berge, 86, died December 11,2019 at the Griggs County Care Center in Cooperstown, ND. She was born to James and Annie(Torgerson) Johnson on December 26th, 1932 in Bottineau, ND. She graduated from Bottineau High School in 1950. She then attended the School of Forestry in Bottineau for one year. Adeline married Richard Kirkeby on June 29,1952 and lived near Hannaford on the family farm where they raised 4 children until his death in 1969. Adeline married Robert Berge on July 4,1971. They farmed in Griggs County and lived in Cooperstown raising another daughter until his death in 2015. Adeline worked at The Boy Scout office in Fargo, Diane's, a womens clothing store, Lad and Lassy and the Griggs County Courier. She was actively involved in Zion Lutheran Church until her health prevented her from continuing to do so! Adeline enjoyed traveling and made several trips to Norway, a once in a lifetime trip to Korea as well as many locations in the United States. Adeline is survived by her daughters Donna (Randy) Rodlin, Amber (Bryan) Hedstrom, Mindy Herron and companion Charlie Kramer, and Sally Stock, 10 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, sister Sylvia Gronneberg, 2 brothers in law and 2 sisters in law. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, 1 sister, her son Steven and great granddaughter Aries. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 21, 2019 at 11:00 am at Zion Lutheran Church, Cooperstown, ND. Visitation will be held Friday, December 20, 2019 from 5:00 till 7:00 in the Quam Plaisted Cushman Funeral Home in Cooperstown, ND and one hour prior to services at Zion Lutheran Church. A Prayer Service will be held Friday, December 20, 2019 at 7:00 pm at Quam- Plaisted -Cushman Funeral Home. Interment will be held at Westley Cemetery, Cooperstown, ND.
