HAROLD (BUNTY) VASFARET Harold (Bunty) Vasfaret, 85, of Cooperstown, ND, died July 15, 2010 in the Cooperstown Medical Center Nursing Home in Cooperstown, ND. Bunty was born March 22, 1925 in Cooperstown, ND the son of Martin and Bernice (Larson) Vasfaret. He grew up and attended school in Cooperstown, ND. Bunty worked for area farmers in the Hope and Luverne areas. He became a resident of the Cooperstown Medical Center Nursing Home January 1, 2004. He enjoyed playing card, reading, horses, friends, making rope out of twine and yarn and raising his nieces and nephew and in later years his great nieces and nephews. He is survived by two sisters, Mavis Nelson, Cooperstown, ND, and Blanche Moore, Hope, ND; one brother, Vernon Vasfaret, Hammond, WI and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents Martin and Bernice, sister, Ione Mauch; brother, Milo; brothers-in-law, Royce Nelson, Robert Moore and Ernest Mauch. Funeral Services will be held Monday at 2:00 pm in the Trinity Lutheran Church in Cooperstown, ND, Visitation will be held Sunday from 5:00 till 7:00 in the Quam-Plaisted-Cushman Funeral Home in Cooperstown, ND and continue one hour before services in the Church. A Prayer Service will be held at 7:00 pm Sunday in the Quam-Plaisted-Cushman Funeral Home in Cooperstown, ND. Interment will be in the Ness Cemetery, Cooperstown, ND.
