On June 1st, 2018 Sonja Marie Bock, 73 passed away from life peacefully at Palliative Care in Fargo ND. Beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend. She was born Sonja Marie Krogsgaard on Nov 12th, 1944 to Harold and Lois Krogsgaard in Valley City, ND. She grew up on a farm near Page ND. During her Junior year of high school, her and her family moved into the town of Page and took over the Page Cafe and Hotel. She graduated from high school in 1962. She had three children. Robert, Laurie and Lisa. She married Duane Bock on May 8th, 1976. They lived in Fargo for several years. They also lived in Bloomington MN for a few years. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with family. Her favorite place to spend time was at the lakes. She also loved playing solitaire, bingo and folding towels at the Griggs County Care Center. Sonja was preceded in death by her Mother Lois; Father Harold; Step Mother Dorothy; Sister Phyllis Andel; Brother In-Law Doc Cooley; Brother In-Law Butch Kaim; and Sister In-Law Mary Jane Krogsgaard. She is survived by her Husband Duane Bock of Cooperstown ND; Son Robert Kubischta (Kim) of LaPorte CO; Daughter Laurie Fetting (Wayne) of Akeley MN; and Daughter Lisa Martin of Finley ND; Step Son David Bock (Lori) of Oakes ND; and Step Son Michael Bock (Shirley) of Frederick SD. Brother Michael Krogsgaard of Goodland KS; Sister Sherryl Cooley of Pocatello ID; Brother Christopher Krogsgaard (Deb) of Detroit Lakes; Sister Kathy Kaim of Buffalo ND; Sister Penny Smith (Steve) of Newberg OR; and Brother Kevin Krogsgaard (Jesse) of Cathedral CA. Grandson Branden Martin; Grandson Nicholas Whitehead (Kimberly); Grandson Christopher Martin; Granddaughter Stephanie Ben Saida (Omar); and Granddaughter Makala Kubischta. Step Grandson Travis Bock; Step Grandson Justin Bock; Step Grandson Joshua Bock; and Step Grandson James Bock. Great Granddaughter Kailyn Steele; Great Grandson Logan Whitehead; and Great Granddaughter Isla Ben Saida. Several Nieces and Nephews; Great Nieces and Great Nephews and even a few Great-Great Nieces and Nephews. A Graveside Service will be July 14, 2018 at 10:00 am in the Page Cemetery, Page, ND.
