EUNICE A. BJUGSTAD Eunice A. Bjugstad, 86 of Finley, ND passed away Monday, April 8, 2013 at her home in Finley under the care of Hospice. Eunice Ann Bjugstad was born to Oscar and Mollie (Walden) Ostrom on July 14, 1926 near Logan Center, North Dakota. She married Carl Gullicks March 31, 1942 at Moorhead, Minnesota. They had three children Ina Rae, Richard and Delphine. Eunice married Kenneth Bjugstad April 17, 1992. She was active in the Peterson-Olson Auxiliary Unit 13 holding many offices as well as District President. Eunice worked many years in restaurants before owning Eunice's Café & Steakhouse in Finley. She played the piano for her church for several years and also played the piano in several nursing homes throughout the local area. Eunice enjoyed playing cards with her friends. She is survived by her two daughters: Ina Rae Jacobson (Mark Vigen) Hatton, ND and Delphine (James) Martin Finley, ND. Ten grandchildren: Jill (John) Mikkelson, Jeffery (Susan) Jacobson, Jolene (Duane) Burchill, KayLynn Gullicks, Patricia (John) Lane, Shaunna (Caleb) Clark, Angela Charette, Jennifer (Jon) Holte, Jaclynn (Jason) Heinz and Dyan (Joe) Wood. Twenty-five Great Grandchildren and five Great, Great Grandchildren. Her brother Howard (Joan) Ostrom, Sister-in-law Lois Odegard, sister-in-law Ruth Gullicks. Several nieces and nephews. Eunice is preceded in death by her parents, three Brother Louis, Merle and Kermit; three sisters Alpha, Mavis and Margarite, her husband’s Carl and Kenneth, one son Richard and one Great Grandson Austin Holte. Memorial services will be Friday, April 12, 2013 at 10:30 am in the Finley Lutheran Church in Finley, ND. Visitation will be Thursday April 11, 2013 from 5:00 till 7:00 in the Church and one hour before services in the Church.
