CAROL L. BREMER Entered Earthly Life: January 5, 1953 Entered Eternal Life: December 15, 2019 Carol was a lifelong member of St. Olaf’s Church in Finley, ND. She was baptized, had her first communion and was confirmed in the church. Carol had taught Sunday School and was also a member of the St. Olaf’s Guild. In high school, she was the Finley Wildcat mascot. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and received her 25 year pin. She worked at Fetting’s Bakery and enjoyed retirement after 42 years of service. Carol also enjoyed being part of a bowling league and volunteering her time as a librarian for the Finley Library. Carol loved to be on the go. Whether it was to watch a ballgame at the Finley-Sharon school, to play a game of bingo, attend a bible study, go camping and fishing, shopping, attending church suppers, baking or traveling. She recently took the trip of a lifetime to the Panama Canal. All who knew Carol, saw her love of life and always were greeted with a smile. Everywhere that Carol went she knew someone – it was incredible! Her friends and family were very important to her. She so enjoyed family gatherings and celebrations. Carol was a giver all through her life, even after life, she donated her corneas so that two people may see. Carol is preceded in death by her father, Wilfred (Bill) J. Bremer; grandparents, Magnus and Anna Faltinson, Ben and Rose Bremer; and many wonderful aunts and uncles. Carol is survived by her mother: Anna Marie Bremer; sisters: Teresa (Kevin) McElroy, Finley, ND, and Nancy (Scott) Nelson of Grand Forks, ND; brothers: David (Donna) Bremer, Finley, ND, and Dan (June Anderson) Bremer of Finley, ND. Nieces and Nephews: Jennifer (Lance) Anderson, Grand Forks, ND; Kacie Bremer, Pine River, MN; Rachel (Michael) Harmon, Moorhead, MN; Jesse (Danielle) Bremer, Finley, ND; Sara (Steve) Madsen, Fargo, ND; Deb (Joe) Beland, Grand Forks, ND; Laura (Matt) Magnus, Fargo, ND; Jason (Whitney) Nelson, Dallas, TX; Samantha (Brandon) Wong, Grand Forks, ND. Great nieces and nephews: Josh, Kylie, Cassidy and Brady Anderson; Krynn Madsen; Isaac and Trevor Beland; Tristan and Patrick Bremer; Paige and Blake Magnus; Paxton, Peyton and Parker Wong; and August Nelson. Along with many cousins near and far. Visitation will be from 5-7 pm., with a Prayer Service at 7 pm., Wednesday, December 18, St. Olaf Catholic Church, Finley, ND. Visitation will continue from 10 – 11 am followed by a funeral service at 11 am., in St, Olaf Catholic Church in Finley. Interment will be in Sheyenne Valley Cemetery, Finley, ND.
