I send my condolences to the Family and friends of Mary Lou Roller. I remember Mary Lou as one of my regular weekday Mass attenders at St. Agatha's of Hope back in the days I had the Tri-Parish cluster of Oriska, Hope, and Sanborn. I appreciated her sense of stewardship and wisdom for her Parish and Town Community, and I always thought it was such a good idea that she took up residence for several years at the church rectory. I enjoyed my conversations with Mary Lou after Mass and on those occasions when I visited her with friends and family at her home; and I was edified by the serious depth of her Catholic Faith and her concern for her neighbor. I was sad to receive the news that she had so suddenly passed away; though I feel a certain sense of relief that she did not languish in great suffering in a hospital bed for weeks or months, but rather simply fell asleep peacefully in the Lord. I pray "Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. + May she rest in peace!" Let us commend her soul to God that she may be brought by God's design of grace to that eternal life for which she was marked by her Baptism and Confirmation. I remain sincerely, Fr. Timothy Johnson
