Kenneth Marvin Dahl, “Grandpa Kenny”, was born on August 1, 1918 to John and Anna Dahl in Circle, Montana. In 1980, Kenneth and his good friends built three condominiums in Cooperstown, ND where he unsuccessfully att empted “retirement”. Kenneth was a member in the Sons of Norway, Trinity Lutheran Church, VFW, and the American Legion. He enjoyed playing cards with his friends, fi shing trips to Canada, winter vacations with his beloved wife, Daisy, and friends in Texas, and he loved all the time spent with his kitt ies. In his retirement, he enjoyed driving to the farm, at least two times a day, to feed his kitt ies. Grandpa Kenny was an inspiration and adored by his granddaughters. Kenneth played an active role in the lives of his granddaughters. He taught them the art of making lefse and soft molasses cookies. He enjoyed visiting until late at night, telling them stories of his younger years. He had a love for farming and was active in its operation until his death.
