ESTHER I. PETERSON Esther I. Peterson 87, Finley, ND passed away Saturday, November 23, 2019 in the Griggs County Care Center, Cooperstown, ND. Esther was born May 5, 1932 in Griggs County, ND the daughter of Robert Hollowy and Agnes Fredrickson. Agnes Fredrickson married Albin Saxberg who had two children Mavis and Leona, to this un ion five children were born, Arnold, Arden, Eunice, Velma and Helen. Robert Holloway had ten additional children, Mildred, Donald, Vernelle, Steve, Ron, Tom, Bob, Laura, Kathryn and Nancy. Esther married Warren Peterson September 2, 1949 and they had three chidren, Cheryl, Gary and Michael. Esther worked at the Windsor Hotel as a waitress, was a farm wife and cooked at the Finley School. She enjoyed embroidery, crossword puzzles, singing, playing bingo and making pies. Esther is survived by; daughter Cheryl (Dan) Lee, Jamestown, ND, son, Gary, Finley, ND, son Michael (Cheryl) Finley, ND; six grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by, her parents, step-father; brothers, Donald – Bob and sisters, Mildred, Mavis, Leona, Eunice, Helen and Laura. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 26, 2019 from 4:00 till 6:00 in the Quam-Plaisted-Cushman Funeral Home, Cooperstown, ND.
