I worker with Dennis at Park River Bible Camp. He was a very nice man and he was very religious. I think he was a life guard. Rosey was the camp director. As you go through your sorrow remember God is with you. Enid
I knew the Lura boys very, very well. I came to Cooperstown every year to visit my grandparents who lived two houses down from the Lura family. David, Denny, and Duey and myself used to play everyday in the Lura yard, baseball and espically going to the pool and swim. Denny and I were the same age and pretty close. Also Duey was usually with us where ever we went in town. Their mother Alice was like my mom we went with her quite often when she went to get the mail. It is with great sadness in my heart to here of the passing of Denny a good friend and Pal. To both David and Duey I sincerely hope you and your families get through this difficult time and enjoy your brothers time spent in his life. To Denny's family rejoice his time with you. Good bye my friend, may God be with you forever.
Sympathy to all the family. Was glad to see him at our 50th class reunion. Was always a friendly guy..I always thought of him on his birthday, as it is same day as mine. Prayers
Dennis was a very caring man, with a witty personality, and a great sense of humor. He was always game for a serious life discussion. He will be greatly missed by many, who were blessed to be part of his social circle. I am very saddened to hear of his passing. Forever in our hearts, DENNY!
