Haugen, sister-in law Audrey, sister Vicki Haugen Knight, brother-in-law, Jerry, her grandson, Ben Garlie, granddaughter-in-law, Heather, great-granddaughter, Bailey Wren, sister-in-law Judy Haugen, nephew and nieces. She will dearly be missed by her family and her many friends here in North Dakota and in Reno, Nevada.
Jan will always be known for her wonderful way of taking care of everyone through her comfort-food cooking and her immense generosity. She loved her family and friends and her loyalty was unwavering. The greatest joy was when Bailey Wren Garlie was born and she became a very proud and happy great-grandmother. Jan was looking forward to a trip to North Dakota for Bailey’s birthday and to see old friends when she passed away.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, August 19, 2016 at the Union Church.
In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to the Union Church or a local chapter of the Humane Society.
