FREDRICK NIERENBERG Fredrick Nierenberg, 95, Cooperstown, ND passed away, September 30, 2012 in the Cooperstown Medical Center Hospital in Cooperstown, ND. Fredrick was born June 9, 1917 near Cooperstown, ND the son of Fred and Ida (Borchert) Nierenberg. He grew up and attended school near Cooperstown and graduated from Cooperstown High School in 1935. Fred farmed with his brother Lester north of Cooperstown and made his home on the family farm until 2009 when he became resident of the Cooperstown Medical Center Nursing Home. He is survived by a sister, Eleanor Haugen, Fridley, MN and several nieces and nephews. We will miss his down to earth common sense values, his ability to fix anything, his integrity, and his love for his family. He was preceded in death by his parents Fred and Ida (Borchert), four brothers, Clarence, Gerald, Lester, and Ralph. Funeral Services will be, Thursday, October 4, 2012 at 11:00 am in the Trinity Lutheran Church, Cooperstown, ND. Visitation will one hour before the service in the Church.
