RICKY WILLERT Ricky Wayne Willert, 65, Wahpeton, ND died Saturday, April 6, 2019 in the North Dakota Veterans Home, Lisbon, ND. Ricky was born Jan. 5th, 1954 in Harvey, ND the son of Leo and Myrtle (Conner) Willert. He grew up and attended school in Pillsbury, ND. Rick served in the US Army for 18 years. He married Renee Jacobson in 1975. Rick worked at Fetting’s Bakery in Finley, ND for over 20 years. Rick then moved to Wahpeton, ND. Later he moved to the North Dakota Veterans Home in Lisbon. Rick enjoyed spending time with family and friends, he also enjoyed fishing. Ricky is survived by his lifelong partner, Linda Bryant, Wahpeton, ND; his daughters, Amber (Fernando) Reese, Wahpeton, ND, Andera (Brett) Hopper, Colorado, Mickey (Julian) Jimenez, Texas; step children, Cory (Kyu) Morlock, Texas, LaNette (Jon) Mehus, Gwinner, ND, LaRae (John) Dittemore, Wahpeton, ND, Stacey Morlock, Gwinner, ND, Steven (Melinda) Morlock, Gwinner, ND, David Bryant, Grand Forks, ND, Michael Bryant and Sara Jacobson, Oakes, ND; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; brothers, Darryl (Kathy) Willert, AZ, Steven (Susan) Willert, Texas; sister, Cindy West, Hope, ND. He was preceded in death; by his parents, Leo and Myrtle; sisters Gloria and Joyce; brother, Ben. Visitation will be Saturday, April 13, 2019 from 9:00 till 10:00 in the Quam-Plaisted-Cushman Funeral Home, Cooperstown, ND followed by a Celebration of Life at 10:00 am in the Funeral Home.
