I am so sorry for your loss. My best memory of Lorna was when we performed during a week of VBS at the High School. We got to be quite close as actresses. She was a very kind hearted woman!
We send our deepest sympathy to the entire family of Lorna. What a blessing she was to so many people. The 17 years of teaching I spent at Central School, Lorna always made sure I had plenty to eat. It was so wonderful to see her this summer and to see how much she enjoyed the party. Enjoy the memories of your mother and never let them pass. Peace to all.
I am grateful for all of my memories of Lorna. She was a vibrant storyteller in her roles in The Trip to Bountiful and Mornings at Seven which I had the privilege to direct in Griggs Country many years ago. It was a pleasure to read about her full life. She will live on as an inspiration in my memory. My sympathies to her family and the good folks around the Cooperstown area who will feel her loss acutely.
We both extend our sympathy to you on the loss of your Mother. We have fond memories of her both in and out of school. Mary remembers a spaghetti supper she prepared in her home for the basketball girls before a game when Mary was coaching. I remember well the sloppy joes and toastie dogs. Peace be with her soul.
